IBM Mobile “Outage”

We got the director of 24 to help us make a choose-your-own-adventure action film. Then we dropped it in the middle of Mobile World Congress.

OUTAGE is set in a power plant during a citywide blackout. To advance the film, viewers must help a hero engineer make choices using IBM mobile software. We didn’t just draw crowds at the world’s largest mobile technology conference. We did so without debuting a phone, tablet or drone.
